Quizzes & Checking Yourself

There's no separate quiz bank to hunt for. Here's where the checks actually live, what a score is telling you, and the short loop for closing a gap it reveals.

Sammy, your guide

Sammy your guide, not a professor

“I used to think a low score meant I'd failed the chapter. It actually just means the chapter found the one part I hadn't understood yet — which is the whole point of taking it.”

Where Quizzes Actually Live

There is no separate quiz section to browse. Every chapter carries its own short knowledge checks built directly into the page, right where the concept is taught, so you check your understanding while it's still fresh instead of hunting down a matching quiz afterward.

What a Score Means

Use a quiz result as a diagnostic, not a grade. Four bands, four different next moves:

Below 50%Go back to the fundamentals section for this concept before retaking the quiz — the gap is likely in the prerequisite, not the detail.
50–69%List what you missed, study just that smallest prerequisite, then retake the quiz after one practice activity.
70–84%Target the one weak category left and explain each wrong answer in your own words before moving on.
85% or aboveTreat the topic as stable. Schedule spaced review instead of immediately repeating the same quiz.
Sammy

Sammy says: if a quiz flags more than one weak topic at once, fix the earlier one first — networking before protocol choice, sensing before analytics. Chasing the interesting gap instead of the blocking one is how I used to waste a whole afternoon.

The Gap-Closure Loop

When a score names a real gap, five short steps close it:

1Assess. Capture the exact missed question or failed lab step — not a vague feeling of confusion.
2Diagnose. Name the smallest missing prerequisite, not the whole chapter or module.
3Study. Read the core explanation plus one worked example, nothing more.
4Practice. Complete one quiz, simulator, or lab step that actually uses the concept.
5Validate. Confirm understanding in the same session, then schedule a spaced review.

A serious gap usually takes 90–115 minutes end to end: roughly 15 minutes to diagnose, 30–45 to study, 20–30 to practice, and 15 to confirm.

Where Results Go

Sign in and your quiz activity feeds your Dashboard, and completing paths or chapters unlocks entries in Badges. There's no separate score-tracking widget on this page — the dashboard is the one place results actually accumulate.
