MOX gas sensorHeated sensing layer to conductivity change
The full text version below describes every layer. All measurement explanations are available without 3D.

Case: mesh-topped gas-sensor canThe mesh can shown here is a teaching example that lets gas reach the sensor. Its mesh pattern and proportions do not specify a commercial package. [TGS 2600: sensing element description, page 1]
Drag to rotate; pinch to zoom. With the view focused: arrow keys rotate, + / − zoom, 1–3 choose a layer, Home resets rotation and zoom. Step advances to the next layer; Reset returns to the case and default view. Layer buttons select a view directly. The page does not move on its own.

Case: mesh-topped gas-sensor can
The mesh can shown here is a teaching example that lets gas reach the sensor. Its mesh pattern and proportions do not specify a commercial package. [TGS 2600: sensing element description, page 1]
Teaching view: The silver mesh can surrounds the sensing parts. Its openings show where the surrounding gas reaches the sensor.
Teaching view: Four terminals extend from the sensor body to connect it to an external circuit. Let the sensor settle after power-on before using or calibrating its output.
Teaching view: The red track marks a heater, the pale tile an alumina support and the gold patch a sensing layer. The heater keeps the layer hot enough to sense gas. Gas that the sensor can detect makes the layer conduct electricity more easily; the external circuit turns that change into a voltage across the load resistor. These shapes and their arrangement are teaching examples; the source does not specify this internal layout.
Explode separates the conceptual layers; X-ray makes the case translucent. External package dimensions follow the model specification; internal teaching geometry is conceptual, not to scale, and is not manufacturer CAD or a wiring diagram.
